Anabell(A238489) wonderful pitty at Pasadena Humane Society

Anabell (A238489), a 3 year-old spayed pit bull, has been at the Pasadena Humane Society since September 6, and her time is running short. She is the kind of dog that everyone here wonders why no one has adopted her yet. She is about 50 pounds of LOVE. Volunteers and staff alike have nothing but good things to say about her: Some notes from volunteers who walk her around the park say that she is "the best dog at the shelter to walk", "In the park she quietly laid down as I spoke with a woman who was walking two dogs.", "Excellent walk. She walked next to or right ahead of me. She is a very entertaining dog." She has been socialized with another dog and even met our resident cat Bosley, who she sniffed and then backed away from him. We re-evaluated her today, and our behavior staff noted that during the re-eval, "Anabell was great! She is friendly, I was able to leash, handle and touch her with no problems. She is food-motivated and knows sit on command."Anabell is simply in the shelter at the wrong time. We currently have over 30 pit bulls, and this sweet girl is lost in the shuffle. Please help her in any way you can, by cross-posting this message, forwarding it along, rescuing or adopting her. We have been given a deadline of November 16th to have any type of commitment. Thank you! If you are able to foster, rescue, or adopt this sweetheart, please contact the adoptions office at (626) 792-7151 x 137, Kevin at x 119, or Ute at x 117. Or email Kevin at mobile@phsspca.org, or Ute at ute@phsspca.org.
